I've been receiving quite a few newsletters lately about the body-mind connection.
PNEI (Psychoneuroendocrinoimmunology) is not new; it’s just been kept under wraps, some even say it’s vanishing into a medical Bermuda Triangle.
Why? Because once people become response-able, less money flows to Big Pharma and for the expensive medical equipment that now adorns hospitals. While these may be necessary to save lives, they come at a significant cost.
PNEI simply means that what happens to us mentally/emotionally affects our nervous system, our endocrine system and our immune system.
For decades, Dr. Lewis Mehl-Madrona has stated that illness does not arise out of nowhere. It’s connected to the environment a person lives in and the childhood they had. Modern medical doctors are often given just 6 to 10 minutes to speak with a patient, leaving no time to explore these “details,” unfortunately.
Medicine has yet to fully embrace Einstein’s theory of relativity: that the position of an observer will influence the phenomenon being observed and affect the results.

In many people, malignancies seem to be an automatic denial of psychic or physical pain and uncomfortable emotions like anger, sadness, or rejection.
One of my clients was suffering from scleroderma, an autoimmune disorder that stiffens the skin, esophagus, heart, lung tissues, and other areas. During a session, she shared that she had had to be tough her whole life. She couldn’t say “no” and was very protective of her family.
A great self-help book on the subject, The Complete Dictionary of Ailments and Diseases by Jacques Martel, was sent to me by the author.
