PNEI # 4 - Arthritis
Fraud in the courts - Manipulated AI - Legacy Webinar on 8/20 - Tongue-in-Cheek
Greetings to all,
Let’s start with JOY! In these times, it's more important than ever to find something that brings joy into our lives—every day!
For me, that joy comes from reading (non-fiction), researching, and gaining insights. Those ah-ha moments are what light up my life.
As you know from the pictures I’ve shared, I love spending time in nature. Here are some photos from last Sunday at the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Refuge.
Many flowers have turned to seeds, while new ones are emerging, adding bursts of vibrant color to the fields. I watched 15 does grazing peacefully in the pastures, and a lone fawn, unbothered by the presence of passersby. The lake is now covered in patches of algae, while ospreys perch on tree tops and telephone poles, scanning for their next meal.
PNEI #4 - Let’s Talk About Arthritis
I started to experience the aches and pains of “growing old,” despite not believing that aging should bring such discomfort. I envisioned myself dancing my way into an advanced young age.
For years, I’ve studied the relationship between the body and mind, ultimately concluding that they are not merely connected—they are a single unit. Some even go so far as to say that the body is the subconscious mind, which may be quite true.
When you don’t understand what’s going on in your mind, just ask the body. Where is that sudden pain coming from?
So, where did these aches and pains come from? We all carry unresolved stress and trauma. Arthritis, in particular, seems to be connected with shock, worry, and grief.
Grief—I get it. Mom passed away in January this year, and waves of grief still wash over me. The intensity of that grief shocked me. My brothers are grieving too, “She was Mom…” That phrase embodies everything. My dad is grieving in his own way, lonely and often distant.
My research led me deeper. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disorder, where the immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s own tissues, especially connective tissue found in cartilage, tendon sheaths, the lining of joints, and the walls of blood vessels.
People with this condition often exhibit extreme stoicism and a reluctance to seek help; they silently endure agonizing discomfort or fail to voice their complaints loudly enough to be heard.
I would say “check,” though much of this stoicism was forged during my two decades trapped in a cult.
Let’s go deeper. Rheumatoid arthritis also appears to be linked to repressed anger. I remember my colleagues remarking that I couldn’t get angry to save my life. They knew about some events happening in my life, and their blood was boiling over it. Yet, for me, it’s true—anger doesn’t seem to be part of my makeup… or is it?
What I read further suggested that this repressed anger stems from early childhood. At first, I thought, “Nope, that doesn’t fit me. I had a wonderful childhood.”
And yet…
Today, I decided to go down the rabbit hole. A few instances came to mind.
My grandparents pretty much raised me until I was about three years old, as my mom and dad were working. Eventually, my parents moved into their own apartment, and Mom became a homemaker. Could it have been a shock for this little girl to move away from her grandparents, even though it was only a few blocks away?
My best friend, just a few months older than me, died of croup when I was around two and a half years old. Another shock?
That same year, I developed an inflamed belly and had to undergo surgery. At that time, parents weren’t allowed to visit their children in the hospital—it was considered too stressful. I’m glad times have changed. I was taken away for that surgery and returned to my parents ten days later. Did I feel abandoned? Was that another shock?
Was I angry? “The repression of anger is a form of dissociation, a psychological process originating in childhood. The young human being unconsciously banishes from awareness feelings or information that, if consciously experienced, would create unsolvable problems… Not infrequently, anger is redirected away from an attachment figure who aroused it and aimed instead at the self.”
That was my self-study for today. Would you believe that the pain in my shoulders and hips has abated?
Sometimes, just knowing helps to relieve an ailment.
A study found that an increase in relationship stresses causes an increase in joint inflammation.
Body and mind are one. Just ask your body what it’s trying to tell you.

We live in strange times—where good is often called bad, and bad is seen as good.
I experienced this firsthand during my divorce. Baking bread and feeding my children organic food was considered bad... yet, somehow, pedophilia was excused as good.
Since then, I’ve been closely following politics, observing and researching what’s really going on.
For a time, I assisted clients in their family court battles. But I no longer do that—it started to feel like an exercise in futility. One client spent a year in jail for reporting to the court that her husband was molesting their three daughters. She lost her parental rights, and he was awarded full custody of the girls. Of course, the story is more complex, but that’s the core of it. The corruption runs so deep, it feels like the entire system needs to be overhauled. I’ve personally encountered about 100 similar cases and know of hundreds more.
Today, another upside-down ruling: “An Appeals Court has ruled that it is OK for drug companies to make false claims as long as the regulators don't object.”
“Merck defrauded the FDA as to efficacy claims, but the FDA and CDC knew about the fraud but continued to buy the product anyway. The court ruled that because the FDA was a willing participant in the plan to defraud the government, it wasn’t fraud that is actionable by whistleblowers acting in the public interest to expose the fraud.
What this means is that, unless there is a change in US law, government agencies can continue to collude with the drug companies to defraud the American people and market drugs that are fraudulently marketed as safe and effective. Nobody will be held accountable.”
Manipulated AI and Psychological Manipulation
I use ChatGPT to correct my grammar (English is not my first language) and to make my sentences clearer.
HOWEVER… it’s imperative that we understand that ChatGPT and other AIs are programmed… thus the beliefs/agenda of the programmers come into play.
You probably heard about the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. Here is the AI’s conclusion.
“In light of the JFK assassination, ChatGTP and Musk AI GROK both said the Secret Service's major failure logically suggests a plot, then GROK read millions of news stories and recanted.”
It’s so fast and easy to change everything with the internet. History is being rewritten, and today’s news is being “edited” by the ruling faction.
BEWARE… BE AWARE!
Mattias Desmet has this to say (he is the author of The Psychology of Totalitarianism, a great read).
“Propaganda is not primarily the art of lying; it is the art of psychological manipulation. It is primarily the art of directing attention. Propaganda ensures that you notice certain aspects of reality and not others. And what is more suited to that than a search engine? Google is nowadays the Great Other that answers all your questions.
And that answer is far from "objective" or "neutral." Google more frequently directs you to "desired" narratives than to undesirable ones. And sometimes the disbalance is quite outspoken. To give just one example: In the days following the attack on Trump, it was signaled frequently that the search term "assassination attempt" in America yielded little to no results referring to the assassination attempt on Trump. Instead, one would get content referring to all sorts of assassination attempts. …
It seems that the enormous propaganda machinery might even be able to achieve the impossible: making a candidate without grassroots support, without rhetorical talent, and without significant intellectual abilities the president of the USA.
… a totalitarian system always ultimately becomes a monster that devours its own children.
… the post doesn't have to be illegal to be forced to censor it.
… In place of the law is a completely irrational and inconsistent rule system.
… unimaginable chaos and psychological dislocation”
In a totalitarian system, no one is safe; everything and everyone can fall under the rules that are rewritten daily…
