Greetings to all,
"A coincidence? I had been posting pictures of horses—these magnificent animals—on my social media, and a friend just happened to invite me for a horseback trail ride. This was followed by a bumpy but fun four-wheeling ride with beautiful views. The pig, a grunting resident of the stables, added charm, while the gold mine was quite impressive."
Most people are unaware that our emotions, especially those buried during childhood to help us cope with difficult situations, can be a root cause of disease. The good news is that it’s quite possible to change this “programming,” even “content free.”
Let’s talk about cancer in general and the potential “programming” that may need to be released:
Feeling that other siblings were favored (whether true or not).
Being too precocious as a child—intellectually mature, overly loving, affectionate, or striving to keep peace in the family.
Bottling up emotions or repressing them (a study showed that men who lacked the ability to express emotions effectively had a five times higher risk of lung cancer).
Not setting boundaries.
A 15-year study showed that lymphoma or leukemia is linked to an emotional loss or separation that brings feelings of anxiety, sadness, anger, and hopelessness.
Inability to express emotions in general, and anger in particular.
Feeling controlled, resentful, and helpless about it.
In the case of prostate cancer: being so driven that one doesn’t feel fatigue, fear, or self-doubt.
Interestingly, Type A personalities—those prone to anger, tension, fast-paced living, aggression, and a need for control—tend to be more prone to heart disease.
Type B personalities are the balanced type, moderate individuals who can express emotions without being driven by them or losing themselves in them.
Type C personalities are known for being extremely cooperative, patient, passive, and lacking assertiveness. They often suppress or repress so-called negative emotions, especially anger, and struggle to maintain a strong and happy attitude.
Once again, this isn’t about self-judgment. It’s about becoming aware of how we live our lives and seeing if there are attitudes we can release to be healthier and happier.
