At the end of 2023, I was interviewed by 2 fabulous young men about health. If all young people were of that caliber in their different fields, we would have a much healthier and happier world.

Over the years, I’ve studied aspects of dark psychology/hypnosis. Why? I grew up in Switzerland. Heidi and Pollyanna were my childhood heroes, life was beautiful. I came to the USA in 1979, and ended up in a “Christian” cult where women were taught that God wanted them to submit to the pastor and husband “unto death.” I almost complied.

I was wondering how, as an independent and confident young woman who traveled the world, I fell into this trap that terrorized me. After all, who would dare to anger a powerful God. My research led me to study mind control.

Like a knife - with which you can cut vegetables or murder somebody - hypnosis is a powerful technique which can be used for good (healing) or evil (manipulation and terror).

This week, I came across a good compilation of experiments that show how we tend to function in society, and mind control.

I hope you understand how crucial it is to be - or become - aware of how easy it is to be manipulated. An old proverb, apparently dating from the 16th century, says that being forewarned is being forearmed. Be wise!

It may never be too late to live your dream. This retired woman’s dream was to be a singer and she got to be on stage for the first time at 84-years old, bringing everyone to tears, singing one of Edith Piaf’s top song “Mon Dieu” (my God)… pleading with God to let her lover live a bit longer, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days… 3 months… 2 months… 1 month…
