Is Homemaking Doing a Come Back?
A Quick Overview of Today's Issues - Woke Culture and an Evolutionary Psychologist - Blueprint to a $900/day - War on Carbon - Blueprint for Holistic Health
Greetings to all,
I get a lot of newsletters, daily, read most of them, or PhotoRead them, a process I learned years ago while preparing my PhD. It allows to start “reading” at 20,000 words/minute, and going up. You can find more about this amazing technique here.
There is a lot going on in this world, both frightening and exciting.
I don’t know who she is, but “She Nails It!”
Another inversion is discrediting motherhood and its role in family happiness.
Homemaking
I believe I got this from Facebook post. Here is the gist of it:
“Homemaking, as it was once known, was a vital aspect of family life. It encompassed the art of creating a warm, welcoming, and comfortable home environment. This noble profession was not just about cleaning, cooking, and managing a household, but also about nurturing relationships, building memories, and fostering a sense of belonging.
Homemakers were the glue that held families together, working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that every detail was taken care of. They were chefs, teachers, counselors, and caretakers all rolled into one. Their dedication and hard work created a sense of security and stability that allowed family members to thrive.
Homemaking was not just about the practical tasks, but also about the emotional labor that went into creating a loving and supportive atmosphere. It was about being present for family members, listening to their needs, and showing them love and care. Homemakers were the pillars of strength that held families together during good times and bad.
While the term "homemaker" may seem old-fashioned, the art of homemaking is still relevant today. In fact, it's more important than ever in our fast-paced, technology-driven world. The values of homemaking – love, care, and nurturing – are timeless and continue to inspire us to create warm and welcoming homes where our loved ones can flourish.”
As a teenager, I never saw myself in the role of a homemaker, although my mother was a happy homemaker and loved taking care of us all. It was her dream job. I was already being indoctrinated that women needed “real” jobs.
I married a guy who wanted me to stay home and I did enjoy being a homemaker. It allowed me to be present with the different stages of growth of my 7 children and to homeschool them. I got to be a cook, a baker, a gardener/homesteader, a hairdresser, a nurse, a teacher, and so much more.
When I was working in corporate Switzerland, I filed documents, typed letters, did bookkeeping, and assisted the director in whatever was needed. Looking back, it was quite boring. Who decided that working away from one’s home and one’s children would be more fulfilling?
Enter the Rockefeller family. Translation below.
Translation: “We created and financed the feminist movement, putting women into the workforce making them believe that it would free them. It allowed us to tax the work of both sexes and to seize the education of children, so we could better program them.”
The homemaking article was followed by a praise for real men:
Dear Men,
“I’m talking to the alpha males, the men who open doors for women, walk on the outside of the sidewalk, pull out a lady’s chair.
The men who hold doors open for strangers, with a smile.
Men who are gentle enough to cradle their newborn child and strong enough to lift all of the groceries in one trip.
Men who buy or admire their wives' new shoes and don’t want to wear them.
Men who can hunt and cook the deer, mow the lawn and help her plant roses.
The men who every morning, regardless of the weather or if they’re feeling under it, get up, go to work and come home because he values his family’s security.
The men who will sacrifice a weekend fishing/golfing trip with the boys to take his daughters to their dance recital.
The men who will defend women and children, the elderly, even if they are not family.
The veterans whose oath never expires.
Please know, real women appreciate you, your sacrifices, your convictions.
We know we can do almost everything you can, that’s not what makes us feel special.
Your scent, your embrace, your surprise notes, your dedication and loyalty are irreplaceable.
You feeling comfortable enough to share your daydreams, plans for the future and what worries you the most; makes us love you all the more.
Men are not given enough credit or thanks.
This is us reminding you you’re so very much appreciated.
With love,
Women everywhere”
I’ve met many women who are unhappy, i.e. NOT “feeling free”, having to work away from home and not being present for her children. Look at today’s generation: suicide among teenagers is at an all time high. Children don’t know whether they are male or female, thanks to the government’s schools woke curriculum.
Watch this interview of Evolutionary Psychologist Gad Saad on PragerU. I don’t agree with some of his evolution ideas, but all in all, he makes good points about the rise of the woke culture.

It does NOT mean that mothers can’t make money from home. As I mentioned, I ended up in a cult that “guilted” mothers for making more than $500/year. It does NOT have to be that way.
I was so thrilled when I found Michele’s awesome program to help moms (and dads as well) make money via digital marketing.

I just got this newsletter, from Ty and Charlene Bollinger, from The Truth About Cancer, this time about Climate Change. Who does this “crisis” benefit? Follow the money and you’ll find that it is a way to tax the whole world.
A friend asked me to send him some mugs for Christmas, from the US to the Netherlands: 6 mugs! The shipping fee was astronomical, from $338 to $450, because of a “carbon tax.” Have you noticed that some airlines are now adding a “carbon tax” on flights?
