Greetings to all,
I perceive gratitude on two levels: the head level, and the soul level.
There are countless reasons to be grateful. Simple gestures like saying “thank you,” sending a card, or writing a thoughtful message can brighten someone’s day.
I recall writing thank-you cards as a child to express appreciation for Christmas or birthday gifts. My mom insisted it was important, and though it felt like a chore, I did it because it was the right thing to do. However, I did not feel it at a soul level.
Gratitude can be seen in a prayer for a meal, thanking for the meal, for the hands that prepared it and for the soil that nurtured it, for the sun, the rain…
I read about the president of a large company who had his cell phone vibrate every 15-minutes, to remind him to have a grateful thought. This practice helped him cultivate an ongoing attitude of gratefulness.
For a couple of years, I experienced a flatline of emotions and feelings. My senses were dull. The first sense to revive was smell; I could suddenly smell flowers again. Then, I regained my sense of taste. Gradually, sights and sounds began to evoke emotions, and I came alive again.
To me now, gratefulness is a vibration I want to live in, a sense of bliss.
Studying with Dr. Laskow, he taught us about the vibration of love. When he resonated with that vibration - similar to gratefulness - he could halt the growth of cancer cells in a petri dish or shield bacteria from antibiotics.
Look at the image below: the left side shows randomness in Heart Rate Variability, Electroencephalogram, and Electromyogram patterns. The right side illustrates coherence, representing the love/gratefulness vibration.
A thank-you card can be sent with marketing intentions (head gratefulness) or from the heart (soul gratefulness).
Whether you start the day with a few minutes of gratefulness, or send a thank you note, pause for a few seconds to let it come from your heart. This practice is healing for both you and the recipient.

Here is a cute and short video from Dr. Bruce Lipton about food.
Another very short video of a mother explaining why they are farmers.
Last but not least, how a secret service agent teaches kids about danger.
